Adriana's Baby Shower

On May 16th all the ladies got together for Adriana's baby shower. We can say Adriana is so blessed to have all her friends and Sophia is even more blessed to get all the cute things she got from everyone. :-) Thank you to everyone who came! It was fun!
Daniella is so talented and took care all of the wonderful sweets..even the pretty cake!

Grandma Libba and grandpa Frank took care of the favors below. Aren't they cute?? Can't wait to see little Sophia with her pretty bathing suit!

Stephens E. Miller - 12/19/49-5/16/09

This past Saturday we received the news that Mr. Miller, father of my really good friends Robbie and Karina, had passed away. He was only 59 years old and passed away after fighting a long battle with Leukemia.
I met this family 8 years ago, and I can say I haven't met any other family yet who treated each other with so much love and respect. Mr. Miller truly put his family first above anything and didn't measure sacrifices to support and provide for them. I really admired the way he treated Robbie and Karina. I remember the times when we were at Karina's house and they were there... they had such a cool friendship.. they were always laughing and making jokes with each other... I though it was so cool since I didn't have that with my parents. They even made their own "family" birthday song.. how cool is that? :-)
Mr. Miller will definitely be missed here on earth.
Please keep his family in your prayers so the Lord may confort their hearts at this difficult time.
Also please help this family by donating to The Steve Miller Memorial Fund at any Bank of America.

Adriana's Maternity Session- Studio ...TEASER

I was so excited to do this session. Not only because I've known Adriana for 10 years, but because she is like a sister to me. We've gone through a lot together since we arrived in the States and I can say she's always been there for me. She is part of my family!
I am so excited for this new phase of her life, and it is hard to believe Sophia is almost here. I know Adriana and John will be great parents. I can't wait to see her little face.
Adriana is so easy to photograph and any pose she makes she looks beautiful...it is like she was born to be a model... no kidding...
I can't wait to do the next session. :-)
Since I love shoes, I couldn't wait for the opportunity to shoot Sophia's brand new pair of shoes. Look how adorable they are!!

Special Needs Easter Egg Hunt- Celebration Churh

This past Saturday I had the privilege to volunteer at the Special
Needs Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Celebration Church. It was actually
my first event shooting pictures for the church, since I joined their
Media team. :-)
I feel honored to be part of a church that reaches out to so many
people, particularly children. We had so many volunteers working at this
event that the line to check in kept getting longer and longer. I had so
much fun taking the pictures, and I was so glad to see kids and adults
smiling every time they got something. It made my day!
My heart goes out to all the foster families as well as to all the
children who require so much in order to get their day- to-day
activities done. I am glad I could help with something.

Pinup Models at Huguenot Park

This photoshoot was a big event for the Meetup group. It was actually my first one as a participant... I'd been meaning to go many times before but there was always something else to do meaning I couldn't go. Thanks to Ralph and Terry, many photographers are able to have photoshoots like this and learn so much. Ralph and Terry know so much about lighting and cameras...It was awesome!
The weather was perfect and the models were very patient with us photographers. Thanks so much Ralph, Terry and to all of you who put this event together.

Mud Run 2009

Last week I had the privilege of going to the Cecil field somewhere in the westside to see our friend Robbie at the Mud Run. (boy.. that was a long drive!!.. )

I can confess I may be too girly or maybe a chicken to even think of doing that race, but I am glad I could be there for Robbie and happy to know he had a lof of fun. :-)

Karina, sorry to dissapoint you but I won't be your partner next year. I will be glad to baby sit for you both if you want to do it together. :-)

They were both having so much fun.. Dylan would clap and laugh so loud every time someone fell down on the mud...cutie pie.....
